President Uhuru Kenyatta will start a 12-day tour of all regions in Kenya on Tuesday hours after skipping the Presidential Debate.

President Uhuru Kenyatta today accused opposition leader Raila Odinga of promoting hatred and incitement that led to the 2007-2008 violence.
He said Raila was at the heart of the violence that rocked Kenya following the 2007 elections as he had promoted politics of tribal antagonism.
Jubilee presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta’s popularity has overtaken that of Cord Alliance Raila Odibnga nine days to the Kenya general elections schedule for March 4.
Opinion poll results released today by Ipsos-Syovate shows that Uhuru Kenyatta popularity is at 44.8%, higher than that of his rival Raila Odinga’s 44.4%. It is the first time Uhuru Kenyatta has taken the lead in the polls.

Cord Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga still leads in the presidential race with 46% approval according to the just released Ipsos Synovate poll.The ODM leader has improved by 12% from the last poll released in December with 34%. Infotrak poll released recently showed Raila was leading with 51%.
Today Kenya National Congress Presidential Aspirant Peter Kenneth launched his presidential bid at KICC. He promises a fresh start for Kenya and a break from the past. Despite positive comments on the launch on Social Media, many Kenyans believe tribal politics will not let him.
Finally Prime Minister Raila Odinga has made his threat a reality by sacking his friend turned foe William Ruto. The former Higher Education minister was sacked today when Raila made changes in his side of the coalition.
Hellen Sambili and Aden Duale who have stood by Ruto were also shown the door. The sacking was contained in a Presidential Press Service statement released this afternoon.
