Supreme Court grants Raila access to IEBC servers
Nasa leader Raila Odinga has won the first battle at The Supreme Court after being given restricted access to the election servers.
The Supreme Court on Monday answered the prayers of the National Super Alliance (Nasa) by giving access to selected IEBC data and KIEMS equipment used to conduct August 8 General Election.
Supreme Court judge Isaac Lenaola said the integrity of the servers must be upheld during the access.
Raila’s lawyers were allowed to copy the data for their analysis and audit.
IEBC was also ordered to give Nasa team led by James Orengo certified copies of Form 34A, 34B and 34C.
Nasa was allowed to access the following: Number of servers, Firewall, Operating systems, Passwords, User types, IEBC ICT redundancy plan, Certified copies of penetration tests conducted prior to and during August 8 elections.GPRS locations of Kenya Integrated Election Management Systems (KIEMS) and Log-ins and trail of users of KIEMS between August 5 until now.
The Court also allowed access to GPRS locations of Kenya Integrated Election Management Systems (KIEMS) and Log-ins and trail of users of KIEMS between August 5 until now.
On Sunday the court gave Nasa its first victory by admitting evidence filed past deadline.
