Kenyans react to oil find in Turkana

    Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) announces that the Ngamia-1 exploration well in Kenya has encountered in excess of 20 metres of net oil pay.The well, located in the Turkana County of Kenya Block 10BB, was drilled to an intermediate depth of 1,041 metres and has been successfully logged and sampled.

  1. The saddest thing for me, is that instead of celebrating the discovery of the black gold within our borders, I have this uncertainty in me that this could go either way; it could be a sure blessing or it could be the last nail in our coffin.

    How did we ever come to such a situation where uncertainty of our own survival is something that always preoccupies our daily life. Still can’t get my head around that. Something seriously needs to change, something has to give.

  2. Look at what is happening in South Sudan, Somalia, all these is because of the black gold.
